Dyson is launching its Dyson 360 Eye robotic vacuum in the U.S. market.
The robotic vacuum features a 360-degree vision system. A camera takes up to 30 frames per second, enabling the robot to capture its surroundings. The company noted that the cleaning appliance then builds a detailed floor plan to intelligently and systematically navigate around a room and track its position, using infrared sensors to detect obstacles.
The vacuum also features a Dyson digital motor V2, patented radial root cyclone technology that is said to capture microscopic dust and fine dirt, full-width brushbar, continuous tank tracks and holds up to 0.66 pounds of dust and dirt. The vacuum will run for up to 45 minutes. When the battery is low, it will self-dock, charge and resume cleaning where it left off, the company said.
In addition, the Dyson Link app allows users to control, schedule and troubleshoot the robotic vacuum, as well as view maps and stats of where it has cleaned.

The Dyson 360 Eye robotic vacuum will be available at Dyson.com starting August 1, and in wider retail channels starting in September, with a suggested retail price of $999.99.
